Raw Diet

Raw food diets for pets are becoming increasingly popular. There are many reasons people choose to feed their dogs a raw diet. Maybe it is because it is the most natural things to feed their dogs, bringing them back to the basics. It is less processed than most commercial pet diets currently available. Others simply feed raw because their dogs love it! There are many health benefits that come with feeding pets a raw food diet, including: shinier coats, healthier skin, improved dental health, increased energy, superior bone & joint health, and smaller stools.

Raw dog food can be homemade, store-bought, freeze-dried, or dehydrated. A raw diet usually includes organ meats, muscle meat, whole or ground bone, raw eggs, dog-safe fresh fruits and vegetables, and a dairy product such as yogurt. They can also be made from only protein. This is considered a complete meal as long as the raw food has meat, bones, and organs in it.
