My dogs go crazy for these treats. The inside is hard enough that it takes my {90-100LB} dogs about 45 min to get all the goodies from the inside. Then my pups continue to chew on the hoof which usually lasts about a week to two weeks before I throw away. The hoof doesn’t splinter but my dogs have chewed off chunks.

This treat is messy until all the stuffing is taken out.
